After more than three decades of dedicated service, Principal Phil Roberts farewelled Mount Sinai College in July 2023, leaving a legacy of unwavering commitment and transformative leadership. Across 33 years - as teacher, Deputy, and for 20 years as Principal, Phil helped shape the fabric of our school and contributed widely to the broader educational community through his work with IPSHA, ISTAA and CIS.
The Phil Roberts Literacy Fund is a fitting tribute to a leader who championed a love of learning and believed that strong literacy skills are the foundation of lifelong curiosity and academic success.
The fund will give students access to a rich array of books, literary, scientific and musical resources, as well as innovative programs that spark imagination and deepen enquiry. It will also support digital literacy initiatives that help students find their voice, grow as confident communicators, and realise their full potential - true to Phil’s enduring vision.
