With its unbroken curve, the circle has long symbolised unity, wholeness, eternity and interconnectedness. Circles surround our lives — from the friends and family who support us, to the communities that lift us through life’s trials and triumphs.
Our Mount Sinai College Chai Giving Circle is built on this same idea: a continuous circle of support for those who otherwise may not experience the joy of being part of the Mount Sinai family.
In Jewish tradition, Chai — life — reminds us to cherish each moment and to recognise that true happiness comes not from what we receive, but from what we give. Through the Chai Giving Circle, we channel that value into helping children and families access a meaningful and memorable Mount Sinai education.
